Marching Band Parent Preview Show

Friday, August 18, 2023 @ 8 PM. Freedom Main Gym. Come watch what the students have been up to in the past few weeks to put together the 2023 show, “Shape of my Heart”

TAG DAY fundraiser is Saturday, September 9, 2023

TAG Day is the fundraiser that benefits all of the Performing Arts Programs at Freedom High School. Students from Band, Orchestra, Choir, Guitar and Theater participate in this day-long fundraising effort. The money collected goes directly to support these programs, and collected funds are allocated among the programs based on the amount of student and parent participation from each group.

Students are encouraged to wear their uniforms as they go out in small groups to go door-to-door in the South Riding community, asking for donations. Please sign up to volunteer as a driver, monitor, etc.

Game Time Meals Info

Band students do not go home before the football games on game days. You can bring dinner up to your student, pack a meal, or participate in the catered option outlined below. Rekha and team have been working hard to come up with some new options for the kids to enjoy before gearing up and entertaining the crowd on Fridays and one Thursday. You can find more information here. Please take a look at this and fill it out even if you don’t intend to partake. It will help us with planning. SOF meal fee ($65) can be paid via Freedom Band Boosters Zelle (preferred), cash, check, Paypal, or Venmo.
